It's that time of the year again when we get to spend precious moments with our friends and family and hopefully more time on an Admiral. The last few weeks of the year were very busy for us with the launch of two Admiral 40ft craft. We remained open for a week longer and only shut down on the 19th of December after a great year end party held at our factory.    

The few days I've had away from the office has given me an opportunity to reflect on 2008 and I can't but help wanting to shares some of my thoughts with you at this time especially as I think of how important this year has been to us. 

Whilst the global recession has taken its toll and the financial markets have collapsed Admiral has still managed to sell out 2009 and most of 2010. No small feat in these troubled times, particularly when you consider that the 2008 Annapolis Boat Show had 50% less multihulls on show than last year. This is a significant amount.

Admiral Charter

Our charter operation is doing exceptionally well with the Explorer being extremely busy over the past few months. Madagascar is becoming an increasing popular destination and we are looking forward to being the charter company of choice in months to come.  

Miami

Please be advised that Admiral will have a 40ft on show in Miami in February 2009 at the South African stand. We look forward to seeing you there.

Admiral Finance

As some of our readers might have seen from earlier media reports, Admiral Finance and Insurance has been approved by the South African Financial Services Board. We provide Finance and Insurance directly to our clients and the marine industry, reducing premiums and financial costs as well as helping to streamline claims.  Many of our Admiral clients have already spoken to Cindy in this regard and have moved their insurance to Admiral. 

Admiral Transport

In addition to establishing our financial services division and with a view to providing a more professional transportation solution, we have invested in a horse and purpose-built yacht trailer which now moves all the Admiral manufactured multihulls from the factory to the launch area.
