Welcome to 2010...
I am sure by now everyone is back at work and wishing they were still enjoying the December vacation. So far this year has proven exceptionally exciting for Admiral, with us securing our first sale of our 45ft power range. In addition to this, we have sold another Admiral 40ft and numerous 21ft powerboats. It certainly would appear that the market is growing in confidence and the upturn in sales has been encouraging.
With that said, however, I firmly believe that there are not enough manufacturers catering to the high demand for more affordable catamarans and as such Admiral Yachts is exceptionally pleased to launch its new range, the Admiral 36.
The NEW Admiral 36 ...
Since the worldwide recession has taken a grip on global finances, we noted a demand for a more affordable catamaran. In order to achieve this, Admiral commissioned the services of our very well respected internationally acclaimed designer, Angelo Lavranos, to design a smaller version of the very popular Admiral 38.
With the design work complete, we are now in process of manufacturing our first Admiral 36, which we anticipate will be available to view at the 2010 Cape Town Boat Show later this year.

Miami Boat Show 2010
Sadly it will not be possible for us to attend the Miami Boat Show this year due to a number of reasons, which include the fact that the 2010 Soccer World Cup, the largest sporting event in the world, is to be held in Cape Town. This has placed serious restrictions on the movement of boats by road. In addition the local boat shows have had to change their show dates which has made attending some of the international shows difficult. We however confirm that we are committed to the USA market and we will be attending the 2010 Annapolis Boat Show later this year. We do have a boat available in Miami for test sails during the show period. Should you wish to book a test sail, please contact Wayne Stone waynets@comcast.net
Latest News from the Factory
We are in the process of building our first “Bright Orange” Admiral 40ft for the charter industry. We are very keen to see what she will look like once complete, and promise to include a picture in our next newsletter. We also welcome Nadia De Roos back into the Admiral team. Nadia previously worked with Admiral as a buyer and we are exceptionally pleased to have her back.

We Have a Winner!
Thanks to everybody who entered our competition to win a Garmin GPS 620. The winner of this fantastic touch screen land and sea navigator was Roger Joseph from Cape Town. His 34 foot catamaran 'Burn Out' is moored in Cornwall, England, and his prize will come in extremely useful when he sails her south this European summer.
