Harlin & Brenda Allen, Banana Split - Admiral 38'

My wife Brenda & I were looking for a good used catamaran when we went to the Miami Boat Show. All that changed rather quickly when we talked to David Bird on board the new Admiral 38. Unlike the other brands that we looked at the Admiral had all the extras at no extra cost.

The cost that was advertised is the price we paid - that's it. After doing the math it was the best deal by far. All we had to buy was a dinghy. We can't say enough about the friendliness and hospitality that we received from David and his staff while we were in Cape Town.

We were met at the airport late at night and taken to our 3 bedroom apartment on the beach.

A rental car was waiting for us in the garage and food in the frig. We spent a month there watching our new boat being finished. Launch day was a big event with police escort and all while we snapped pictures from David's convertible BMW. 37 days later we were in Trinidad. We had a very good trip.

We have the utmost respect for David Bird. He did everything he promised and more.
